Interact (F) — the most important key

F handles every non-combat interaction in Michaels Zombies. You press it to:

Miss timing on F during the Giant Mule Kick quest furnace step wastes an entire quest phase. Bind your pinky muscle memory to F before attempting multi-step Easter eggs.

Combat keys: Q, R, V, G

Q toggles aim down sights. Tap it for single shots with the .357 Magnum or hold for tracking with automatic weapons from the weapons tier list. R reloads your current weapon — always reload during safe training windows on One Window where one breach point limits escape routes.

V switches to the knife. Early rounds on any map should be knifed for maximum points per kill. G throws a grenade. Use grenades to bunch zombies before firing the Saiga-12 or clearing a path to a perk machine.

Movement: Shift, C, Space

Left Shift sprints. Sprint from spawn to Juggernog on round 1–3, then sprint between box locations when rolling for Wonder Weapons. C crouches — useful when lining up shots through Undead Nocturn window gaps.

Space jumps. Some maps use verticality for Easter egg routing. Jump is less critical than F and R but still appears in traversal puzzles.

P opens the in-game settings panel. Adjust mouse sensitivity here if ADS feels too slow on sniper rifles. Lower sensitivity helps Lighthouse escape sonar minigames where precision matters.

Tab toggles the leaderboard overlay showing current round, downs, and player stats. Check Tab after round 20 to compare your pace against teammates during high-round survival sessions.

Mouse recommendations

Most players use 400–800 DPI with in-game sensitivity tuned so a full mousepad swipe turns roughly 180 degrees. Higher DPI without practice causes overshoot on Wunderwaffe DG-2 chain lightning. Test settings on The Giant before pushing Definitely Origins.

Admin console note

VIP private server owners press ~ (tilde) — not listed in the player HUD — to access admin commands. That console is separate from normal gameplay keys. See admin commands and console IDs for the full reference.
